The best self-help book This book quite literally has changed my life, or should I say helped me make the changes needed to change my life. Its simplistic and humorous format make reading easy and enjoyable. The advice inside is spot on and much easier to absorb than other similiar types of books. No long journey's to the past, just simple understanding of the kind of person you are and what you can do to improve. I had so many light bulb moments reading this book that I could have lit up a whole city!

Why this book? It really provides what is promises ;practical steps to affect changes,combined with an understanding of the "causes" .I don't know the author, my copy was taken and I am purchasing a new one-but the book delivers.Do yourself a favor,if you know your problem lies in Self-Discipline (and it's a very good bet at least part of it does)get the book,give it the 10 Days.If you do, you absolutely will feel the book delivered on its claim(s).Candidly ,in the self-help genre when a title delivers I am very satisfied.
One other "worthy" title in this area. Thomas Sterners the Practicing Mind hThe Practicing Mind: Bringing Discipline and Focus Into Your Life,excellent read as well.Good luck.
Simply amazing! I am a psychology major and I can honestly tell you that the information in this book is the real deal. It addresses negative self talk in a unique manner and offers practical solutions. The explanation of self discipline as being composed of multiple different psychological components integrated and working together is very interesting. You may not get self-discipline in ten days but you will certainly have deep moments of international reflection and maybe even have an epiphany or two. If nothing else, this book offers a great starting point to address the many things that may be holding you back in life.
Doesn't present a system It's a very interesting book and a pleasure to read. It's easy written.
It maybe doesn't present lots of new information but it helps to look on your existing knowledge of self-discipline more deeply and from a different perspective.
It gives plenty of tools which are simple and well known (self-talk, affirmations, visualization) which are probably usually overlooked due to their simplicity.
On a bad note, the book doesn't provide a complete system on using the tools, it is left out for a reader to customize, to experiment when to use which tools.
The Book That Made a HUGE Impact On My Life. This book has made such a monumental impact on my life. After reading this book, well not even finishing it I started to see improvement in a single day. It lays out clearly what we do to avoid self discipline and how to over come it easily. I has step by step instructions to help get out of the gray zone, where we don't know what is happening and how it's happening.
After reading this book I'm now calm when others panic, I get amazing things done, I believe in myself and in the fact that I can do awesome things that I thought were impossible.
I cannot recommend this book more Highly.
