 life altering book
This book was given to me by a friend as I exited an abusive marriage. I have since read it several times, and bought multiple copies to give to friends as they need it. These four simple agreements can (and have in my case) completely transform a life. Highly recommended . . . (would even add a super extra sixth star if the option was there.
 Good advice if you can dig through the double speak
The four pieces of advice that he gives are quite good. But, my goodness why all the mysticism? It's like buying a pizza and being told that you have received something incredibly important. Instead of a plain ole pizza, it's actually an "Alien space orb brought forth to nourish your body with truth and hope". But I guess that some people think that simple elegant ideas are 'deeper' if they are presented in a complex way.....
Simplicity is The Way
This author is able to capture important messages and advice for living that are on a parallel with more evolved books. "A Course in Miracles" and "Way of Mastery" are books I own that convey the same message as this book, but are much more involved and complex. This author is able to keep the message simple, to all populations...in a way that is easy to understand. I also enjoy the conciseness of the book, the large print, easy understandability and the truth the book imparts. It has an attractive cover, reads fast, and the hard cover makes it a beautiful gift to give. Imagine more people living this way! If we all lived the message of the book, this world would be healed.

A must have for all. I listen to it all the time.
