 Helpful Tool
I really didn't know what to expect with this book but I knew I had to read it if I was going to embark on my journey into healing! It was suggested by my therapist over two years ago! (that's when I read it) I often reflect on the literature inside because it helps me, to still get through from day to day. This book has great spiritual encouragement and clinical views on how to recover from sexual abuse. I would suggest this book to all who are willing to journey into their healing. I am very thankful unto Dr.Allender for writing this book. Peace and Blessings

you'll want to tear it to pieces. this is the best conceptualization of hurt/abuse I've ever read. It's too good, in fact. not to be read without friendly supervision.
Good condition.
It took a little longer than I had hoped, but it was still within the time frame they gave me. Book was in excellent condition. It was everything they claimed it to be.
Life Changing
The author is totally inspired by God. Only God would know my innermost shame & secrets and only He could create a book & workbook that could enter my heart in a such a way that is merciful and Graceful. The reader should know that this "work" must be entered into prayerfully. The healing begins the moment you start reading, though it may not "feel" like it. It will cause turmoil in your life but it will lead to "life" and not allow you to remain in the same unhealthy "dead" existence you've settled for all these years. Be patient with yourself. Life is a process and this is your new beginning!
Very Helpful
From a person that has experienced childhood sexual abuse, this book is excellent. It is difficult to read at times, I have thrown it across the room at times, hits too close to who and where I am. I would recommend this to anyone that cares to know what goes through the mind of an adult that has lived with this type of abuse. The writer has brought to reality the feelings and fears that go through my mind. I have gained alot from this book. If you have a friend for support, please have them read this also - it will help them help you.
