 Adriana Trigiani is right, excellent book!
Based on multiple references to this book during published interviews with novelist Adriana Trigiani, I decided to purchase this book.
Trigiani, when asked about how she worked her way past writer's block, or if she ever got writer's block, said she never had the problem because she used her subconscious mind as a tool in her work. She cited the guidance she received from the book as the method she used to solve problems, whether they involved the plot in a book or the resolution of other kinds of situations she was facing.
After several months of reading interviews where this was mentioned, I finally did what I should have done in the first place, and ordered the book through Amazon.com. I have been delighted. It's a book that I am reading, pencil in hand, notes in process, and savoring line by line. I recommend it highly, and am so grateful to Trigiani for sharing this wonderful tool with her fans.
 Buyer Beware of publishing companies!
Worthless edition of otherwise phenomenal book! Buyer needs to be aware of publishing companies antics. I purchased from Amazon the book "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind." The edition I purchased was by Martino Publishing Co. in Mansfield Center, Ct. All of Murphy's books are excellent! I had already read his "Think Yourself Rich" and I loved it. I just was totally naive to publishing companies "hack jobs", a term which had been used in an earlier review about publishing companies for Dr. Murphy's books.
When I first started reading this book, published by Martino, I ran into several misspellings. That's when I became suspicious and wrote an email to Martino Publishing Co. Then I started to peruse the other paperbacks available and reviews on all the books and then noticed the review from MVK. I complained to Amazon, and the book has been since replaced, but the public should be aware that not only can the spelling be wrong in other editions, but Martino also changed the wordage. As MVK stated earlier, Amazon should be ashamed of carrying these "hack Jobs", which does represent an infringement on Dr. Murphy's copyright. I want to read what Dr. Murphy has to say, and not what Martino restates of Murphy's ideas.

Religious propaganda! Not the psychological enlightenment I thought I was getting. As an atheist, I found this book to unhelpful and down right irritating. I did not receive a scientific book about the brain and it's workings. The book is an advertisement for Christianity and nothing more. I prefer not having religion shoved at me needlessly. It will do nothing to sway my mind. Save yourself the money and do not purchase this book. The author has made way more than he should have off of this piece of propaganda trash.

This book is a powerhouse of information. My father gave me a copy of it 30 years ago and I'm still reading it. This copy is one of many purchased as a gift.
